The client’s brief to the architect was to design a contemporary home that had to be above everything else, comfortable, warm and inviting. They wanted an abundance of glass included into the home’s structure. In order to get the ultimate benefits from this, the glass panels were recessed into the walls of the staircase as well as the main bedroom.
In order to ensure privacy from adjacent stands, the patio was created towards the middle of the house. The lounge and dining area face the north and an internal garden physically seperates the kitchen and dining area from the patio, yet still allows the residents and their guests a view of the patio when they are either in the kitchen or the dining area.
The modern theme is carried throughout the inside spaces in which every room emits an undeniable sense of opulence. The kitchen is not just the place where food is prepared – instead it has been created and decorated in such a way that it allows for the entertainment of guests as well. This modern culinary space is visually stimulating with its stained bleeched veener and white lacquered doors that are matched meticulously with Caesarstone countertops.
Definitely worth mentioning is the contemporary and chic bar area. With its Caesarstone countertop, subtle tinted
lighting, fashionable light fixtures and pop art pieces, this space certainly reinforces the home’s modern and trendy edge.
With its contemporary and chic interior as well as its brilliant architecture, this imposing home is indisputably one of grand and impressive proportions.
