Everything sold at Africandy is made in South Africa, and we aim to show South Africans and the rest of the world the high calibre of design that exists in South Africa. Africandy is also a proudly South African company, which means that it complies with certain quality standards but more importantly that the local industry is supported, fair-labour practices employed and jobs created.

What is your view on online shopping in SA and what has been the response to Africandy?
Ecommerce is still in its infancy in South Africa, but it’s an ever-growing industry with huge future projections; I haven’t yet met someone who doesn’t appreciate what we’re trying to do, which is great. We really work very hard to ensure that we maintain a great shopping experience, from the user-friendly website layout to the experience of receiving your parcel, as well as customer service.
Top tips for online shoppers?
