It’s the weekend baby!
Friday has got to be one of the most loved days of the week (aside from those who look forward to hump day and phuza Thursday). Nothing beats the first evening of the weekend. Spirits and moods are elevated as the hours tick down drawing the long awaited weekend closer. Weekend plans often start in the middle of the week if not the following Monday!
Step out the box

Step up, step out and be bold! – Sound advice for some, but pretty tough on those with a cosy comfort zone. Colour, fashion and styles guide us through life and enters our everyday existence, yet many of us just seem to add the new with the old, resulting in an amalgamation of the ordinary.

Becoming a new home owner is nothing but elating! No one can describe the feeling of getting your very first set of home keys and stepping in YOUR own home for the first time! Yes it all belongs to you and you can do with it as you please and however you please. Whether painting every room marshmallow pink is your thing or following the trendier Scandinavian minimalistic trend is what you had in mind, it is each to their own and nothing can stop you.
Monday Blues

Feeling sluggish and tired today? Suffering from the Monday blues? Don’t worry, you are not alone! After a weekend of over-indulging on yummy food and a glass or two (or three) of wine, many face that Monday morning meeting with little enthusiasm and struggle to get back into a week of healthy eating.
But do not despair… By simply following a couple of the following pointers, we will have you feeling great in no time!
Firstly, ditch the fatty, spicy and sweet food and rather opt for light meals that comprise plenty of fiber and nutrients.

… is often a catch phrase you’d find at an old 80s disco while you strut your stuff on the dance floor. Not one you’d find yourself chanting while standing on your front lawns watching your precious home go up in flames. Recent research has found that nowadays most home are not adequately equipped should a fire ensue. I know that my house doesn’t have the proper fire preventing measures should, God forbid, a fire threaten my humble abode.
