As it was built on the spot of the owner’s childhood holiday home, architect Chris Hattingh of FDT Architects worked closely with the owner to pay respects to her happiest family memories, while making sure the new build would offer even more to come. The result? A six-bedroom (each with en-suite bathrooms), double-storey home that accommodates 12 people as comfortably as it does two, and blends seamlessly into its coastal surrounds.
