Some of my favourite things in the world are books – so when I received an invitation to a preview of books written by some of the most enjoyed authors across the world, it was like Christmas in January!
Exclusive Books invited a selection of the media to a pre-launch of some of their Summer Sale books. The event was held at the Piza e Vino in Rosebank, which welcomed guests with a pitcher of cool sangria and the warm smiles of the ladies from Exclusive Books. I had my special Exclusive Books shopping bag with me, and set to browsing in exceptional form.
Novels by great fiction writers; to magnificent books on architecture, gardening and interior decor; cookery books to tempt even the most seasoned culinary artists; and even a table laden with books to transport the kids to far away worlds and imagination-tantilising creatures…were there. And because Exclusive Books wants to spoil everyone, you won’t pay an arm and a leg to walk out with a few more books than you planned for.
So here are the details:
Just for fun…there are fantastic red trolley dash competitions taking place online at www.exclus1ves.co.za and on the Exclusive Books social media channels. 100 Red trolleys will be hidden across the website with each trolley counting as a ticket of entry. The first consumer to tweet the product with the trolley image on it using the Twitter Sticker, and the name of the store that they want to do the dash at wins the shopping spree at that store!
Two dashes will be taking place: the website/Twitter competition will take place on Wednesday 23 January and the Facebook/Blog Comment on 30 January.
