Creating a home which exudes aesthetics and beauty is not difficult to achieve, however, creating a home that has all this including the ability to exude warmth and comfort at the same time is an entirely different matter altogether – different, but not unachievable, as these residents discovered.

Distinctive tranquillity and peace permeate the core of this abode. Structural elements as well as carefully selected and well-chosen interior decor fill the rooms of this home with a serene essence taken from the surrounding environment.

The home owner’s personality is evident and is made visible through the various art pieces placed throughout the home, which is further enhanced by the palette of the soft furnishings as well as the walls and floors. The decor makes use of a neutral palette of hues – earthy tones – combined with rich dark wood and texture, and is perfectly complemented by the soft vibrant furnishings and creative use of steel and glass, creating a perfect visual contrast for the eyes to rest on.

The sleek design of the contemporary architecture ensures a seamless flow from inside out and vice-versa. The open-plan design of the living spaces allows for a unity of individual rooms, with furnishings placed ingeniously so as to create not only a distinction between each room, but act as the wall or barrier itself.

The incorporation of glass and the foldaway stack doors in the construction of the home not only adds to its natural appearance but also ensures that sunlight illuminates the interiors, adding warmth and allowing a natural ambience in the home. The high ceilings combined with large vertical windows and doors create the illusion of space in the open-plan areas.
