The home owners put their personal stamp on their home by ingeniously combining an African style with a more modern contemporary theme. With no help from an interior designer (with the exception of professional help and advice for the curtains), the residents chose to fill each living space and area with interior design elements showcasing their own unique personalities.
This, commingled with choice African elements such as animal trophies mounted upon the walls, paintings of wildlife as well as unique African decor elements, ensured that the ambience within was an immaculate fusion of tranquillity and serenity punctuated only by the bright and vibrant colours of the soft furnishings against a neutral palette. “We love Africa, and tried to express that although we live in a development,” add the home owners.
