After much deliberation, the owners chose go with an unusual integration of Afro and Bali styles of architecture which allowed them to mix and match between a coastal chic and bush luxury theme. Due to the fantastic location of the house, a few crucial precautions had to be taken into consideration before building could commence.

From the breathtaking double volume downstairs entrance and open living areas, to the private and luxurious upstairs en suite bedrooms, connected by a unique suspended walkway, this home is a true reflection of the home owners’ passion and love in creating their perfect dream home. Absolute comfort is evident in every room of the house and was critical to the owners’ design of having a home that they could enjoy daily, as well as being easy living for when their family and friends visit.

Enlisting the help of top interior designer, Lisa Walters, from Lisa Walters Interiors, the home owners’ desired “Ralph Lauren look” was brought to life after a careful selection of furniture, fabrics and final accessories and finishes.

Even though completely open-plan, each room holds its own and exudes a true essence of calm and tranquillity. Even the full length climate-protected verandah is easily accessed through any of the downstairs rooms, giving the home glorious views from all angles. The fully kitted verandah overlooks the perfectly manicured garden and is a definite favourite as it can be used all year round. Whether for entertaining guests or relaxing after a busy day, having the sea as a backdrop to this immaculate home brings joy to its owners every day.
