The secret is seeking out that “holy grail” designer who can deliver on all levels. This is where Bethan Gray fits the bill on all levels.
Winner of the “Best British Designer Award” for 2013, Bethan is hot, hot property right now. If you follow the design fairs, you should be familiar with Gray’s work – her latest piece launched at Maison & Objet a few weeks back. Taking inspiration from her Welsh roots and stepping further back in the family tree to the Far East, Bethan combines these cultures to produce her designs. And when you have a great, great grandmother who was a cabinetmaker, you can clearly see the genes at work! I cannot help but bow down to the design knowledge this force of creative nature holds.
