Anne Hodgson is a designer from Cape Town who hand makes goods out of natural materials such as wood, cloth and leather. Each handcrafted piece she creates is unique, simple, strong and finely finished – made with intent to last and be handed on to the next generation. She shapes cuts of wood into useful spoons, boards and spreading knives, for use in the kitchen or on the table. This maple butter knife and oak board have been sanded smooth, oiled with food-safe oil, finished with beeswax salve and are ready to be used.
