Giveaways

Day 9 of 15 days!

On the ninth day of Christmas, SA Home Owner gave to me…

An Uashmama Iki bag, valued at R1 512

Pronounced “wash mama”, Uashmama is a 100% cellulose fibre, manufactured using virgin fibre from cultivation and not by deforestation, worked through a mechanical process and used in both the paper and skin industries. The paper used to make the Iki bag is impregnated with wax for strength and a smooth finish. With wear, creases will begin to form creating a soft, aged look. However, once heat is applied (iron), the creases disappear and the paper goes back to its original solid colour. Uashmama produces a line of housewares and fashion accessories designed, manufactured and produced entirely in their laboratory, using craftsmen from their local district, central Tuscany.
