Penthouse living is one of the most prestigious property avenues one can take. According to writer Jonathan Bell, author of Penthouse Living, “the penthouse, in short, is the architectural expression of unsurpassable success: in terrestrial – not to mention residential – terms this is as definitely as high as you can go. Literally, and symbolically, you’ve reached the top”.

This description couldn’t be more appropriate when applying it to this lavish, luxurious three-storey penthouse haven The European market is seeing a great trend towards penthouse living as well. “The market for penthouses is becoming more sophisticated,” says Hugh McGuinness, the sales director of a UK-based real estate company, “and with this bespoke service, a buyer can customise the design to his or her specifications”.

For this luxury penthouse, the architect commissioned was from the firm Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects (SAOTA), and with his unparalleled expertise and an incredible eye for detail this penthouse turned out to exceed all expectations. This is a company that prides itself on excellence, attention to detail and a general ability to create not only a contemporary living space, but an aspiring lifestyle as well.

Interestingly, the interior decoration manages to augment the salient features of the structural components with pristine elements to make the penthouse a home. According to Okha, the interior design company responsible for this beautiful home, “the home owner’s brief for this three-level penthouse was to design a product that would showcase the evolution of 21st century urban living, reflect individualism and evolve the technological aspects of the smart home with tailored lighting and automation”. Designer Adam Court was responsible for the beautiful work in the home. “In effect, we created a wall-less 900m² penthouse, with a garden, that gives the impression of levitating above the city mass,” notes Adam. He goes on to suggest that one can always create a modern living space for a family while maintaining a sense of calm, security and comfort. Using different items of furniture and decor elements, the designer was able to give each zone in the house a completely different look while maintaining the overall connection of the home.

The penthouse, Jonathan also notes, is perhaps the most iconic of all living spaces. The word implies wealth, with an emphasis on space, views, and an enviable urban lifestyle. This is plainly seen in this home with its modernist art, expert decor and design, and amazing views – living in this penthouse provides a truly remarkable experience.
