When you walk into this superb suburban home, the first thing you’ll notice is the combination of different colours, styles and textures that blend into one another perfectly.

The Georgian-inspired house with its brick and plastered look is not only beautiful but sets the bar for a fusion of different, classic styles into one luxurious abode.

The home owners are originally from Atlanta, so the move to create their living space with a distinctly Georgian decor theme was not surprising. What was extraordinary about it was how well it turned out. “The first time we walked into the house, it was welcoming and warm, and the finishes were exceptional. It felt like we had walked into our dream home.”

Trish Arnoldi Interiors worked closely with the home owners to create interior spaces that are not only remarkable but give way to a lifestyle of note. The fabulous and vibrant idea, as the home owner puts it, just fits with what they wanted. According to the original brief, the home owners wanted an open-plan concept, where everything flowed and everybody could be part of the entertainment aspects of the house.

The man of the house, according to his wife, was adamant that the patio could either be closed off or be a part of the house – this allows for easy entertaining and at the same time ensures that the patio furniture remains protected from the outside elements. In the end, the patio was actually included as part of the whole house when the doors are open, and can be closed off to become a separate room as well.

Bright and exciting colours were selected for most of the furnishing, and this makes the house inviting and enjoyable to live in. The house allows for easy entertaining as the home owners enjoy having people around to share their home with.

As advice for future home owners, they suggest that you do your home work and go after high-to-top-end finishes.

They also say that future home owners should be selective about the type of builders they use as this will definitely give them a home that they can be proud of.
