By painting the bookshelf a bright red and chairs a vibrant turquoise, the designers of this room have succeeded in adding a tremendous amount of visual appeal to the space. Simple herringbone flooring and white walls are the perfect compliment to these bold pops of colour.

This room works so well as it is the perfect combination of modern and vintage; eclectic and contemporary. From the elegant dining table, to the bright orange display unit, each piece is gorgeously styled and almost certainly has an interesting story. I believe that objects hold so much more meaning and value if they have stories to tell. Take a treasured piece of furniture and give it a new lease on life by upcycling it.

These decadent crystal pendants immediately captivate the viewers attention with a beautiful design which contrasts beautifully with the masculine elements in the room. Trawl second-hand shops and flea markets for one-of-a-kind trinkets that can be displayed in a unique way.

Just because a space is small it doesn’t mean it can’t be truly stylish. In this bathroom, the owners have opened the space by sticking with a neutral colour palette and added a luxe feel by going all out with luxurious sanitaryware (hello bronze finishes!) and tiles (check out those marble subway tiles…). They’ve added softer touches with turkish tiles and beautifully packaged beauty products.

Deep purple walls and a striking purple rug anchor each of the design elements in this home office. The wooden desk is made from reclaimed timber and the simple but elegant occasional chairs provide balance to the overall space. Cream floorboards, white fabric on the chairs and a metallic display unit compliment the bold purple hue.
