The architect of this light-filled home explains that his ethos centres on creating buildings that work around people. The result is that every element in the house is soothing to the senses: there are none of the anomalies or extra, unnecessary details that become an unconscious source of stress.

Creating a sanctuary of this type means that special attention must be given to the flow of the home. The bedrooms are a case in point. It’s not simply the fact that every room has an en suite bathroom, but rather the way design, which has been carefully considered to ensure that there are no potential obstacles, proves anything that may inadvertently ruin the home owner’s experience.
