As Africa travel specialists, this couple have travelled the country and the continent, and have moved multiple times, exploring and working on many game reserves until they decided to settle in the Western Cape and find a home in Paarl with their young family.
“We decided to move to the Cape in order for our children to start their schooling. We always knew it would be tough to find a place that would rival the natural beauty, wide open spaces, as well as the safety and security which was afforded to us, living in game reserves. We were spoilt. And then we discovered this estate. We fell in love the moment we drove through the impressive gates for the first time. We instantly felt at home and knew that there was nowhere else in the world that we wanted to live. My husband spends a lot of time travelling throughout Africa as a private guide, which leaves the rest of the family at home, therefore security was one of our top priorities,” says the owner.
