Hotel Vernet

Written by Jess Binns

Anyone lucky enough to be paying Paris a visit soon?

If you are, then firstly I’m very jealous. But secondly, and more importantly, you need to make a beeline to the newly refurbished Hotel Vernet, situated between Charles de Gaulle and the Golden Triangle district. A new addition to the Besse Signature Hotel Group, Hotel Vernet has seen in its 100th anniversary with an exciting and daring interior makeover.

Headed up by the truly wonderful, Francois Champsaur, Hotel Vernet has been transformed and literally thrown into the very forefront of the luxury hotel market. Best known for his pairing of collective art and carefully thought-out design, Champsaur has created many pockets of interior luxury and delight within the hotel walls.

No expense has been spared with architecturally sculpted copper folding screens and brass mesh wall detailing to name but a few. Colour is also very present, which adds a lovely whimsical feel. This in turn, complements the sheer grandeur of Hotel Vernet, not to mention the decorative glass domed ceiling in the restaurant.

Stemming from the Haussmann era, Hotel Vernet now stands testament to the prosperity of that time. I can foresee many famous actors and the Parisian elite adorning the sleek bar area and feeling very much at home!

I strongly advise checking out their website here.

Best wishes,

Jess from Hector & Bailey.
