Adding to the rich aesthetics that have been created by natural wood are the country-style kitchen lights that the owners selected especially to accentuate the centre of the island.
Storage is an integral element in the kitchen – here it is seen in abundance with wicker baskets under the island, as well as cabinets with carved wood and woven straw as well as glass for displaying.
The modern appliances have been subtly integrated into the decor without being intrusive. The end result is space that is not only practical for day to day needs, but one that could also easily double up as an entertainment kitchen.
