Capturing a descriptive Danish cultural word in her lifestyle blog (and Instagram handle), when you arrive at Reena Simon’s Instagram feed, you definitely get all the feels of hygge. What is hygge? Well, pronounced hue-guh, this Danish term describes that exact feeling you get when you’re snugly warm or content. It can be achieved from the simplest of things like having a good laugh with friends, or a comforting meal that’s shared with family. Living in Cardiff, UK, Simon’s passion for modern rustic interiors with a mix of industrial and boho styles keeps her followers hooked to see what next will unfold in her terraced Victorian house. If you’re keen to be part of her personal home updates, then follow @hygge_for_home.

Evening!! What a day! 😀 Another epic one shooting the house for the first time for an interiors magazine (you can take a sneak peek on my stories)! I am nearly two years into my @instagram journey & I have only now plucked up the courage to say yes to have the house shot for an interiors magazine. . A few reasons for not wanting too until now, 1) I didn’t think my house was good enough & haven’t had the confidence to say yes (feel a bit embarrassed to even admit to that one) 🙈! 2) Logistically & practically I just couldn’t face getting my house tidy and sorted enough & thirdly I didn’t want to be in any of the pictures!! 🙈😂 . Well I’m so glad I finally did it & even better that I had the loveliest ladies running the show! @kinship_creativedc & @cathy.pyle are a talented duo & made me feel totally at ease, they helped me find my cheesiest smile & have done an awesome job on the photos and styling, I cannot wait to see it in print!! . Yet again I am truly amazed by the kind & lovely people I have met online & whose paths I may well not have ever crossed!! I know social media is still a controversial one & there is a dark side to it all especially for the younger generation but for me personally at the age I am & the community I get to be a part of, I LOVE it!! 🙌🏽 . Hope you have a lovely evening! . . . #bathroom #bathtub #bathroomdecor #bathroomdesign #subwaytiles #interiormilk #myinterior #homeadore #myhome2inspire #bhghome #plantgang #urbanjunglebloggers #rusticdecor #interiormagasinet #interieur #botanicals #dslooking #badezimmer #rom123 #whiteinterior #onlyinterior #thisishome #cozyhome #alltihemmet #cerealmag #lonnyliving #solebich #neutraldecor #myhyggehome #hygge
