We were fortunate enough to be invited to the launch of Jenda at Montecasino recently.
Located on the Piazza, Jenda is ideal for pre- or post-theatre drinks and snacks, with a slick, contemporary yet welcoming ambience.
The philosophy behind the restaurant is one of sharing – whether it’s the small plates of food (we can recommend the prawns with lime and chilli), a bottle of wine from their specially selected menu (bought from the Nederburg and Cape Winemakers Guild auctions last year) or even just a relaxing experience with friends in their Mediterranean-inspired outside area or upstairs wine tasting room.
“Jenda is a comfortable environment where people can stay for hours, relaxing and enjoying the light fare complemented by fine wine,” says Norman Wallace, Operations Director for Tsogo Sun.
And we at SA Home Owner did just that, ending a great afternoon of eating, drinking and chatting with the restaurant’s (not so light) Lindt chocolate fondue with biscotti, marshmallows, strawberries and honeycomb. Yum!
