This opulent affair is a perfect symbiosis of gourmet food, fine wine, whisky, artisanal drinks, fashion, automobiles, design & décor along with musical kur and show jumping. Nestled on the piedmonts of the Stellenbosch mountain range, the historic Blaauwklippen Vineyards will play host to the second annual Le Kap Lifestyle on Saturday, 6 December 2014.
Celebrated South African chefs such as Bistro Sixteen82’s Brad Ball, Gregory Czarnecki from Waterkloof, Malika Van Reenen from the Cape Grace, Roland Gorgosilich from the Grand Roche and Steve Jeffery from the Bistro at Blaauwklippen will showcase their virtuosity as they prepare gourmet food in the event’s Exhibition Kitchen in the piazza area. A selection of their food will be served to guests throughout the afternoon, together with an array of gourmet food markets, which will offer additional menu items for sale on the estate’s sprawling lawns. Wine connoisseurs can also look forward to tastings from 10 of South Africa’s top wine estates.
