Bordering on a nature reserve, with serene views of the city in the distance, the location of their home couldn’t be more perfect for this nature-loving family.
“In fact, we’re also close to schools and adjacent to a shopping mall,” says the home owner. “However, the house is so well designed and positioned that when we are home, we are entirely oblivious of this, and enjoy absolute peace and quiet.”
The pleasing placing and design of the house were, she says, largely thanks to the architect, who is not only responsible for designing six houses in the estate, but also lives there. “He knows the area really well, and has a great feel for the earthy, open-plan and very light style we wanted.”
