Situated on a cliff edge offering a 180-degree view of the dam, the home owners couldn’t have found a better spot to build their perfect home.
The design of the home is built in such a way that it maximises the surrounding views, with an ingenious design of a “see-through-view” from the entrance through to the exit. Double volume walkways were key in keeping a sense of space within the home. The open-plan design coupled with the use of large windows throughout the home, provides a plethora of natural lighting.
The outdoor decking overlooks the dam, while the pool is constructed in such a way that it seems to almost overflow and become part of the dam, contributing to the serene ambience.
The style concepts within the home boast a modern and spacious design yet not clinical. The interior decor boast a contemporary design, with striking paintings gracing the walls, and a combination of muted and pale hues. Splashes of vibrant reds and oranges complement the pale hues of the interior.
The home owners wanted to stay away from a typical Tuscan style for their home and wanted to include elements of glass, brick and steel throughout. This created an amalgamation of classy personal furnishings combined tastefully with unique idiosyncratic decor. The bathrooms display a more opulent and sophisticated theme with the use of muted hues contrasted by the use of dark furnishes evident in the vanity, mirror frame and the dark wooden blinds.
The residents, more than delighted with their home, feel blessed to enjoy the immaculate surrounding views which often leave them speechless at such beauty.
