From the outside in, it is evident that these home owners take great pride in their residence, with no detail having been overlooked. Amazing views of the Magalies mountain range filter through the home’s interior effortlessly and being built in such a way that it is truly north facing, sunlight pours into the home even during the colder winter months, providing it with an abundance of natural light and warmth.
The beautiful interior was expertly pieced together with the help of renowned interior decorator Nico Rens, and the final outcome was an explosion of natural colours and materials. A minimalistic theme is evident, with clean lines and wide-open spaces perfectly complementing the home’s structure. Large frameless glass panels and doors make the interior inviting and various textures provide it with a warm and homely ambience.
Pastel colours were carefully chosen to integrate various elements of the interior and unique furnishings and artworks provide each space with a personal touch.
The house was designed in such a way that it has a seamless flow via the imposing central double volume hall to the various entertainment areas, bedrooms, garages and study – each boasting a unique and contemporary appeal.
Five en suite bedrooms ensure that the owners and their guests sleep in ultimate luxury and the rich textures of the bedding and curtains make these rooms undeniably warm and comfortable.
In addition to the formal lounge, living room and dining area, this residence is also home to a wine cellar, linen room, pajama lounge and imposing entertainment area which further boasts a built-in braai, pizza oven and extended kitchen – making entertaining a breeze.
