With the original property being a typical Victorian space with small rooms, Oregon pine floors and distinct fireplaces, the owners wanted to bring the home into the 21st century but didn’t want to get rid of all things Victorian.
Keeping the fireplaces and the flooring, they opted to open up the spaces instead to give the home a more modern feel while still being able to appreciate and enjoy its charming heritage.
The home, open-plan, warm and welcoming, shows off glass doors that lead to a courtyard at the back of the house. There is also a large patio with a pool in front, and this allows for a seamless flow throughout the home from front to back.
