Due to the slope of the site, the garages were established at the lowest level of the stand, and the home was elevated, giving the residents the opportunity of uninterrupted vistas as well as the added benefit of security.
Ample glass was used in the design – large windows as well as a double-volume entrance allow for a feeling of indoor/outdoor living, while at the same time ensuring that the interior of the home is bathed in natural light.
In keeping with the contemporary feel, clean, flowing lines were key to bringing the interior areas to life. Each room has been treated in such a way that spaces are individual, yet there is a flow in the use of open-plan design.
Although all of the rooms add to the flair of the home, the kitchen definitely stands out. Striking and fashionable light pendants hang down onto a centre island that comprises snow-white countertops and a lime-green tempered glass splashback, which creates a striking balance in this fully kitted, ultra-modern culinary space.
“I was extremely pleased with the final result of the home. Throughout this whole process, I have realised that paying attention to detail and selecting quality finishes makes all the difference,” remarks the owner.
