Captured here during a rare moment of calm, this sublimely stylish home is one that has been designed to be lived in to the full. “We have three young kids, ages 11, 10 and three, who are always having friends over and are all over the place themselves, so we wanted a home filled with lasting luxury that would handle the high kiddie traffic,” the owner explains.
Equipped with a degree in interior design, the owner worked together with a good friend to achieve the desired look and feel, which she describes as contemporary and minimal. “The living spaces are filled with clean lines and solid pieces. Clean, bold pieces – where less is more – make a statement of class, not clutter. The wall finishes work to individualise each space, as well as tie them together.”
