Grand in scale yet cosy and welcoming, the owners have really created their own masterpiece. Having both grown up in the countryside, the home owners selected this property because “we get the best of both worlds,” they explain. The estate offers breathtaking views and the feeling of being far away from the hustle and bustle of urban living, whilst still being in close proximity to all essential amenities.
“I wanted a lot of cupboards in the rooms, kitchen and scullery with an open-plan kitchen. For my husband it was imperative that we had water elements in and outside the house as well as a spacious entertainment,” they explain. Complementing the contemporary architecture, they chose basic natural tones and hues to create a flow throughout the home. Splashes of warm colours and tones of black and white in certain rooms break the mould. Furnishings were chosen by the home owners, who opted for simplicity and fewer decorative finishes contributing to the openness of the house.
There is an effortless flow of light and space adding a loving touch of modern contemporary flair to every inch of this home. Large doors and windows open up the home to exquisite views, while the upper large rooms and pristine bathrooms cater for relaxation and privacy.
