The art of entertaining

By Justine Olivier, Project Consultant Ruanda van der Walt, Photography Nic Baleta

“Coming from a large family, I wanted my home to be a modern environment in which to entertain and enjoy time with my children, grandchildren, family and friends,” explains the home owner. “This home allows for beautifully decorated spaces that are also functional and comfortable. It was inspired and designed for entertaining.”

The entertainment and dining areas are furnished with vibrant, eye-catching hues, complementing the interior living spaces. The dining area features a 20-seater table, with chairs in funky and stylish designs, and another table in more subdued colours for a smaller group. The kitchen, situated next to this dining area, is a contemporary design of grand proportions, with all the appliances necessary to create culinary masterpieces while entertaining.
