Part of his vision is seen in the beautiful bulkheads found throughout the interiors. As a specialist in this field, these were designed by the owner and his home became the ultimate blank canvas for him to explore his creativity.
Light fittings have been innovatively incorporated to not only illuminate the spaces but to create attention-grabbing focal points. The light fixtures such as the chandeliers, are modern but with a classical theme.
For the interior, the owners opted for an earthy feel which was achieved with a muted palette of neutral hues. An interior designer was not used but ideas and inspiration were taken from magazines. The colour scheme for the furniture and soft furnishings consists mostly of oranges and browns.
The kitchen and the dining area form the heart of the home. The culinary space is fully equipped with all the mod-cons with a contemporary yet classic look that uses clean straight lines, designer countertops and wood cabinetry.
Stepping outside, its hard not to have your breath taken away by the stunning architecture while the use of white evokes visions of the White House to further accentuate the glamour of the home. The grand entrance has been marvelously framed by bold pillars and sets the stage for what is yet to come – a grand home that is a vision turned reality.
