Tiling your laundry room

Laundry room

I recently tiled my laundry room. However my washer overflowed and water seeped underneath the tiles. Is there any way to get rid of the water (which still seeps through the seams when I walk on it) without re-tiling?

Sean Philpott – Tiletoria: You will have to call in a reputable tiler who will probably have to remove all the tiles in the laundry room. We are assuming that you installed ceramic tiles on the floor initially which should not really be installed in “high traffic areas” like the laundry room and also ceramic tiles are far more porous than porcelain tiles; porcelain tiles are also much stronger. If you do not pull up the tiles as soon as possible, the water will start to go off and possibly start to smell. Ensure that you always use a reputable tiler, quality grout and of course high quality tiles from a reputable company.
