The owners of this dream home desired as much of the vista to be incorporated into the design of their home as possible.
Made up primarily of mud-coloured plaster, clay roves with timber windows and shutters, the aesthetic appeal of the structure complements the surrounds impeccably. Louis Louw Johan Bergenthuin Architects brilliantly designed the home in such a way that every area wonderfully emphasises the magnificent view. The architectural ingenuity lies in the incorporation of clean-cut symmetry, free flowing lines and open-plan design, all simultaneously contributing to the timeless appeal of the structure itself.
All rooms, including the kitchen, display magnificent ocean views. The kitchen is an open-plan design leading into the other living areas. This ensures a natural flow of the kitchen’s warmth into the other living areas of the home. Opulent furnishings eloquently deck the walls and line the interior. The interior decor is one of elegance while still retaining a relaxed and homey feel. Concentrating on utilising furniture items already in their possession, the residents accentuated their most loved belongings by mixing the old with modern furnishings.
This house contains the ultimate entertainment area, boasting amazing views of the lagoon. The main bedroom has convenient and easy access to and from the balcony as ingenious use of sliding doors allows for the ultimate view whilst relaxing in the comfort of one’s own room. Maximising the entertainment area the architects made dexterous use of an infinity pool blending it into the scenic beauty.
A true home – perfect for stress-free living and revitalisation.
