Tessa Sonik Fabrics are excited to announce the launch of its brand new collection of “vintage” enzyme-washed linen.

Enzyme washing is a laundering process, which uses enzymes to clean or finish fabric, especially in the case of garments with a worn-in look. This new range captures the old world finish of the linen perfectly, and is ideal for adding a bit of a lived-in feel to scatter cushions or furniture.

Because this linen has an enzyme-wash finish, it gives fabric a lovely weighty drape. The designs are all 140cm in width and sell at different prices.

The plain enzyme-washed linens retail at R1 120 per metre (100% linen; upholstery weight) and are available in 31 colours.

The printed washed linens retail between R1 200 – R1 600 per metre (these vary in composition and include cotton, linen and jute; also upholstery weight).

For the difficult choice of selecting your favourite colour, go to Tessa Sonik Fabrics and see the 31 different colour options in person. You’re sure to not be disappointed.
