Designed by architect Robert Thomson of M Design, the brief included “Cape glamour” with just the right balance of style where world class finishes would complement his trendsetting client’s lifestyle.
This home is streamlined to enhance an uncluttered environment exuding sophistication and a sensual colour palette. It also reflects Cape Town’s unique cultural character where new-world chic harmonises with historical values rich in diversity. Constructed against a magnificent mountain backdrop, its rich offerings include colourful sunsets and an array of the Cape’s majestic visual pleasures. Although confident and bold in the design, it is also a creation of superior indoor and outdoor flow.
Interior design elements were optimised in the exquisite master bedroom suite, reflecting not only the seductive gold and metallics but also spectacular views of Table Bay, Robben Island and the West Coast. The meticulous use of double volume spaces elevates prominent views of the Signal Hill forest and the ocean, and creates seamless flow between the interior and exteriors.
