Win a Home Season 5 is in full swing! In episode one, you met the Design Duos and got insights into the grand prize of a Designer Penthouse Apartment at the new Balwin Properties development in Somerset West, the Paardevlei Lifestyle Estate.
Last week you watched as the three Duos embarked on shopping adventures to select flooring, key furniture pieces and they also met up with local artists in order to add a bespoke piece of art or furniture to either the guest bedroom or spare room, both of which now need to be completely transformed before Thursday when the judging begins.
Will the Duos make it in time for the deadline on their rooms? Not without some drama, of course, we won’t spoil anything for you, but let’s just say that the Duos have a tough time getting everything installed before host, Danilo Acquisto, arrives with his dreaded air horn!
Each of the teams, Team R&K, Team Contrast Control & Team Perma Peeps will get the chance to discuss their approaches to each room with Danilo before the judges arrive to make their final decisions and name the winners of the first challenge.
Bryan Courtney, the CMO of Private Property, Stephen Brookes, CEO of Balwin Properties and Buhle Mathole, Company Director of Kabu Design Architects arrive on site to inspect each Duos transformation of their guest bedroom and spare room.
