Four years of intensive research – attending decor and design exhibitions, and filing magazine pages – helped this home owner create the house of her dreams.
Her research process was meticulous: she carefully made a note every time she encountered a supplier whose wares she particularly liked, so that by the time she was ready to build her house, she had a ready reference of everything from tiles to windows.
The result is a home which, although modern, has none of the angles that characterise typical contemporary architecture. Instead, it is a harmony of soft, curved lines in a calm, soothing palette of whites, creams and taupe.
