These owners lived in Johannesburg for 27 years and then retired to Wilderness. This property is located on a gentle north-facing slope in the Southern Cape, where the harvesting of sunshine in winter was achieved by large north-facing windows and frameless glass doors. Energy efficiency was important to these owners and the property incorporates LED lighting, a heat pump for hot water supply and extra insulation in the walls, floors and ceiling.
