While back in the UK, I remembered hearing the name “Bodie & Fou” being bandied around by magazines and certain interior blogs, but for whatever reason I never followed up with finding out who Bodie & Fou was or what they stood for.
However it’s a name that’s not easy to forget, and I’m glad I didn’t as out of the blue I’ve just stumbled across their online store which, wait for it…is happy to deliver WORLDWIDE!
This coincides with their launch of their Spring/Sumer 2013 catalogue, which oozes wondrous accessories, fashion and homeware. The founder and creative director, Karine Candice, is extremely passionate about their latest launch – “I thoroughly enjoy the creative process, and it’s quite amazing after months of hard work for us to hold a print copy in our hands”.
Karine, who started Bodie & Fou with her sister has a real eye for selecting neutral/white palettes with a hint of colour as and when needed. Just from leafing through the catalogue a wash of cool, calmness descends, helping you to find your “happy place”. The carefully selected pieces by this clever French lady (now residing in the UK) make this an online store a must to visit, if only for inspiration.
