Wanting a modern South African home, these owners spent a lot of time researching different architectural styles before choosing a design that suited the needs of the entire family. “We wanted a house design that would encompass vast expanses of glass to allow us to make the most of the views and our garden. We also wanted open-plan spaces with modern fittings but the home also had to be comfortable and homely,” says the owner.
Family, enjoying time with friends and the great outdoors are important to this family. “We wanted a home that would accommodate the needs of our children and ourselves, and give ample opportunity for entertaining as well as space for everyone to enjoy the home. We love sitting in the boma area and watching the sun go down over the Magaliesberg,” says the owner.
