An opportunity arose to buy on this eco-estate and the family didn’t hesitate. “This is our second new build and when the opportunity came up, we jumped at the chance,” says the owner. “Overlooking the Simbithi equestrian area is a horse lovers’ dream. The estate is an amazing place to raise a family in a beautiful and safe environment.”
The owners wanted a single-storey this time around, to tie in with their young family and ageing parents. “We had several meetings with the architect on site prior to purchase to make sure that we could fit out our dream house without going double-storey,” says the owner. The result is a whopping five bedrooms, six bathrooms and a triple garage, all sporting an impressive solar PV system and rainwater harvesting.
