Orchard Keepers

Written by Jess Binns

Here we are, mid March and I already feel jaded and ready to escape to the country for a well-earned weekend away! It seems that every country has somewhere to escape to, a place to recharge the batteries, quiet the mind and just chill.

In my mind’s eye, this place should have a calming essence, natural earthy tones and tons of greenery, so when I stumbled across Orchard Keepers I came close to packing an overnight bag. Came close, because it’s actually resides in Victoria, Melbourne, so in reality the travel there would take up a weekend alone!

Orchard Keepers was lovingly restored by Pos Sampieri. Having left the corporate rat race, Pos found solace in this magical place and that magic shines out from every corner of the house. Charcoals and chocolates tones ground every nook and cranny, blurring the lines with nature, whilst the white backdrop makes everything fresh and clean and utterly restful. I want to snuggle up on those comfy linen chairs and run my hand over the cool black concrete kitchen counters!

What a place to escape to as a family or with friends. I have no doubt that a waiting list exists for such luxury set out in the Australian sticks!
