It’s quite fitting that as we start moving out of winter and into spring – a time of new growth – SA Home Owner has been appointed the first media partner of the South African Institute of the Interior Design Professions (IID).
This institute is the only professional body in South Africa representing the local interior design industry, thus holds the rights to the following professional designations: interior decorator, interior designer, senior interior designer and interior architect – as registered on the NQF (National Qualifications Framework). The IID endeavours to promote excellence in the practice of interior design, progress the profession, and expand the contribution that the professions devote to society at large.
What this partnership means is that SA Home Owner now has access to an accredited body of interiors professionals across South Africa, with a direct line to the knowledge, talents and skills that these professionals hold – with the aim to inform our readers, and offer them a connection to accredited interiors professionals to contact for their homes. In addition, SAHO will also provide professionals from the IID a platform to talk to home owners and share their own information, ideas and inspiration.
