Situated in a leafy suburb in KwaZulu-Natal, this home is reminiscent of days gone by. The home owner describes the interiors as “sophisticated and colonial” and since each room has its own appeal, choosing one room that stands out is rather hard. However, according to the lady of the home, her favourite space is the main bedroom and she explains that it is here where she likes to relax in bed and watch the sunrise with the trees in the foreground. She adds that her second-best space is the corner guest bedroom that overlooks the pool and the garden.
The home offers open-plan living areas, lending itself to a very social and relaxed lifestyle. And the large veranda, which flows onto the spectacular pool and beautifully manicured garden, makes outside entertaining a breeze.
