The home owners had built in this estate several years earlier, but with a growing family were needing something bigger. They chose this stand for the great views of the golf course.
“We considered our options and decided to acquire this vacant property because it was bigger. Plus, it was a blank canvas to begin from,” the owner says.
The idea was for a contemporary home that wouldn’t date. “We wanted a home that was timeless, so we stayed away from trends. It is a simple exploration of architectural form and clean lines. The design is largely driven by the need to look out onto the view, maximise light and the relationship of the living spaces to flow into the garden,” the owner adds.
The home is simple and functional, yet at once stylish and elegant.
