Looking at this magnificent abode, it is hard to believe that when the owners purchased the home it was in a sad and sullen state. Seeing its potential beauty, even when looking a little neglected, these home owners embarked on a massive renovation project and turned this house into a stunning home.
Embarking on this massive journey, the home owners enlisted the help of Wanda-Michelle Interiors (WMI) to help them revamp and remedy all previous structural damages in order to create a bigger and more practical home that was both aesthetically appealing and also functional for both family and staff.
Seeing to all their needs, WMI worked closely with the family, ensuring their home was everything they ever dreamed of. Covering design collaboration and consultancy, renovations, project management, interior design and decor, WMI perfectly interpreted the family’s brief into a tangible style and design while creating an environment that is peaceful, healing, uplifting and energising.
Striking from the exterior right through to the interiors, a sophisticated and elegant feel was effortlessly carried throughout. Polished, warm and welcoming, this home is a testament to the owners’ desire to create a home perfectly suited to their family to live in and enjoy. “The idea was to create a neutral palette so as to incorporate the already bold furniture and art work that the client wanted to reuse,” explains Wanda. By using a neutral palette, the company created the illusion of space and gave the interiors a clean and contemporary look. Different wallpaper was incorporated to not only layer the room and create a feature, but also add a touch of pizzazz and unique quality to each room, allowing the rooms to be able to stand on their own yet still flow seamlessly throughout the open-plan house.
